This kit is supplied in 2 formats. The default is 'model only' with no radio control or battery included. The second is a full bundle, which includes radio gear and all batteries - The full bundle option needs nothing else!

The Hornet stands as one of Tamiyas most popular R/C cars ever released, helping launch a 2WD R/C buggy boom worldwide. Featuring excellent performance on both dirt and on-road tracks, this awesome buggy can take on any type of terrain.

Just like the original, this re-release features an easy to assemble chassis and drivetrain. The Hornet is perfect for those that used to have one, those that have always wanted one, and for those that want a revolutionary buggy that has earned its place in R/C history.

This version of the model comes with all required Radio controller gear, a steeing servo, and a rechargeable battery and charger.

Please note - The bodyshell supplied with the Hornet is clear polycarbonate and requires painting. On this car its not a difficult job. The picture shows a simple black coat of paint with the decals applied for reference. (a full set of decals are included).

This kit is supplied as a complete set with all radio gear, servos, and suitable NiMH recharageable battery. It even comes with batteries for the Controller..

If you gave this as a Christmas or Birthday present, you would need nothing else to Complete it (except normal modelling tools, Screwdriver, Modelling knife etc)

You may like to paint the body shell though. It is supplied as a clear shell, with decals. The painting can be as complex as you wish, but the pictures above show this model simply painted in black with decals applied

This model is not supplied with a battery or with any RC radio equipment, which you will need to use the model This is so you can choose your peferred radio gear and battery type based on your budget and preference

You will also need some paint for the supplied clear body shell. The pictures show simple black has been used and then decorated with the supplied decals.
