This kit is supplied in 2 formats. The default is 'model only' with no radio control or battery included. The second is a full bundle, which includes radio gear and all batteries - The full bundle option needs nothing else!

Brand new from Tamiya. The lunch box EVO !

Another Tamiya classic creation, the R/C Lunch Box (1st released, 1987) was loved for its appearance as much as for its R/C performance. The boxy minivan body raised up over monster truck wheels ensure that this R/C van will get attention anywhere you choose to drive it. This Brand New Release kit takes that spirit of customization by creating the Lunch Box EVO edition with features such as updated suspension and longer tread and wheelbase.

Overall Specification Lunch box EVO

  • 1/10 scale R/C model assembly kit. Length: 390mm, width: 295mm, height: 220mm. Wheelbase: 217mm. Tread: 228mm.
  • ABS plastic body-identical to the original.
  • Tread and wheelbase are 10mm longer compared to the iconic Lunch Box to improve traction and controllability.
  • Updated suspension features front double wishbone's and a rear 3-link setup with rigid axles for stable performance.
  • New equal length steering arm added to front and rear stabilizer.
  • Strut bar is added at front to enhance chassis rigidity.
  • 7mm lower body mount provides a lower center of gravity, which helps stable control.
  • Body is securely mounted by eight screws.
  • Features full ball bearings.
  • Hex wheel hubs are included. Use with 950 ball bearings (sold separately) and change wheel attachment hole sizes to allow attachment of wheels with hex hubs at front and rear.
  • Updated sticker design.
  • Includes 540-Type motor and ESC.

 

 

This kit is supplied as a complete set with all radio gear, servos, and suitable NiMH recharageable battery. It even comes with  batteries for the Controller..

If you gave this as a Christmas or Birthday present, you would need nothing else to Complete it (except normal modelling tools, Screwdriver, Modelling knife etc)

Note:- This model is supplied with a bodyshell in yellow prepainted abs plastic which can be left as it is, or repainted.  A full decal sheet is included so painting this model is not difficult. The model shown has ben painted with a plain yellow paint, and the has the decals applied. If you are feeling artistic, you can use the sides of the van as a canvas to paint your own original designs for the ultimate conversation piece!

This model is not supplied with a battery or with any RC radio equipment, which you will need to use the model This is so you can choose your peferred radio gear and battery type based on your  budget and preference
