Pimp your Tamiya's Ride. This kit will give you a much higher top speed and super quick acceleration when used to replace a Brushed motor system.
 
This is a complete kit for converting an existing Tamiya brushed 1/10 scale vehicle, fitted with a Carson (Tamiya) 540 motor, to a completely brushless setup. The kit includes an ESC (Electronic Speed Controller), and Brushless Motor with full instructions on setup.

This kit is compatible with all Tamiya 1/10models and any Tamiya vehicles that use a 540 motor. An example list is below. There are many more models this fits, but too many to list. If you are in doubt, please ask

*Note - This kit does not include a battery. Whilst you can use your existing NiMH battery, best results are found with a Lipo Battery. For most Tamiya kits the battery you need is here:

This kit can iether be used to replace an existing brushed setup, or installed into a new car. See below for some additional information.

Existing Brushed setup

If you have an original Circuit board style speed controller (driven by a seperate servo) then this kit will work with your car. You will need to remove the servo, motor and speed controler. You will also need to remove the ballast resistor.

If you have a more modern brushed controller (ESC Eectronic speed controller) then this kit will work with your car. You will need to remove the motor and speed controller

Radio Gear

This kit does not replace your radio gear, but will work with your existing radio gear. You may have the older 27Mhz, or 40Mhz system (extendable aerial and crystals), but this kit will work.Just place the three wire connector (red, black and white) into Channel 2.

Similarly if you have a modern 2.4Ghz syetm, this kit will also work Just place the three wire connector into Channel 2.

All RC Receivers, regardless of make or style have a common ground or -Ve This is always on the outside edge of the receiver. Just make sure the Black wire of the three wire connector goes to the ouitside edge.
