The Tamiya TT-01 is one of the most popular 1/10-scale electric touring car chassis ever made. Introduced in 2003, it became a favourite because it is affordable, durable, easy to build and has a huge range of compatible body shells and upgrade parts. Even though it has largely been superseded by the TT-02, it remains a great chassis for beginners and casual drivers.

Performance
Out of the box, the TT-01 is designed for fun rather than outright speed. It has predictable handling and plenty of grip on tarmac. The shaft-drive system is robust and requires very little maintenance compared with belt-driven chassis.
This model comes fitted with an M-Logik fully programmable race spec speed controller. It also comes with original brand new radio gear, which is the stick style made by Acoms.
