So popular was this in the 1980's that Tamiya decided to re-release it! This is an update of arguably. the most popular Tamiya 2WD buggy model  of the 80's . The pre painted, Racing style polycarbonate body brings to mind the image of a full-size racing buggy, and its markings take inspiration from the original model. Durable slim wheels are fitted to the front, with front ribbed tyres for steering accuracy and rear oval block tyres on the rear for excellent grip and off-road performance.

The model includes a realistic driver figure in the cockpit.

Description

The Holiday Buggy was one of Tamiya’s classic R/C car kits first released in 1980. It is available as a re-release assembly kit. The classic body comes mounted on the DT-02 chassis, which has its battery pack loaded in the centre of the bathtub frame, providing excellent handling performance even on rough surfaces.

The DT-02 machine is a simple 2WD chassis which features a straightforward, rugged design to ensure easy assembly and superb reliability, while its 4-wheel double wishbone suspension offers agile handling. Combining exciting performance with user-friendliness, the DT-02 chassis is the perfect way for R/C novices to start enjoying the wonderful hobby of Radio Control.
